brief
The transition to sustainable consumption and production of goods is a necessity to reduce our negative impact on the climate. Digitalized consumption stands at the center of this discussion to further the UN:s global goals for sustainable consumption.
MEEKS seeks to introduce a platform built on blockchain technology (NFT) into the vibrant sneaker culture around the world while keeping the artist behind art in the spotlight.

challenge
How will we consume and most importantly, communicate in the future? As NFTs and the metaverse exists, we are constantly reminded that our world is merging with the digital. The challenge lies in interpreting longevity in these trends, analysing our behavior regarding digitalized consumption and developing a solution to something more long-lived.

process
I started out with user research and conducted interviews with people about their shopping habits to get a better understanding of my target audience. I then organized the data, developed key findings and built a persona.
From there on I proceeded with short design sprints that led to prototypes ready for qualitative user-testing. After gathered data from the user tests I could then begin to iterate accordingly to the appropriate feedback.

lesson learned
I learned a lot during this project, but the things that stand out is the importance of researching your target audience and that you're essentially blind without user-testing. There is so much to miss if you do not test your solution, which at the end of the day may make, or even break your product.
